The PUNTA mobile shelf system is a practical solution for archives, offices and general use. This system makes it even possible to double the amount of storage space compared to conventional stationary shelving units. As a rule, a mobile shelving system can be comprised of 1-10 rail-mounted shelving units, depending on the load and space between two stationary shelves, and one aisle that opens at the desired point by either turning a crank or pulling on a handle. For heavily loaded shelving units longer than 3 meters, we recommend the use of cranks in order to make it easier to move the units. Depending on the type, the load-bearing capacity of individual shelves ranges from 80-200 kg. The load-bearing capacity of shelving units is 2400-4800 kg, depending on the number of rails used. The shelving unit consists of a base carriage and the TH steel shelf mounted on it. The carriage sliding and control wheels that run on the rails are fitted with ball bearings. There are 2-4 rails, depending on the length of the carriage. The rails can be either surface or flush mounted. The stationary shelf is a TH steel shelf with smooth end walls. The standard color for mobile shelving units is RAL 9002 gray-white; fittings are galvanized. Shelves and their individual parts (e.g., end panels) can also be ordered in other color shades. Standard height: 1634 mm, 2000 mm, 2366 mm and 2737 mm. Standard depth: 300 mm, 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm; 250 mm available by special order. Standard width: 800 mm, 1000 mm and 1200 mm. Carriage length: Up to 7 meters. Shelves can be adjusted in 61 mm increments. Shelf interval of 331 mm (file folder height) when evenly spaced.
